Just wondering how those people are doing — those who kept piling into SPY, VTI, VOO, etc last year

The sentiment was that anything index is literally better than gold, as proven by historical data. I was negged into oblivion as a troll for suggesting a possible downturn can blindside you. Where are those people now?

TRUMP SLUMP is real and a very Trumpy kind of thing.

Aren't we already in trouble when it comes to JPow?

There seems to be a shift from people thinking that we're about to implode to people thinking the bottom is already in, as "Trump will cut back on tariffs and declare victory". I also see the fear and greed index slowly recovering along with the stock market indexes. On the …

Holding foreign currencies via ETF?

Worried about USD losing value (assuming Trump gets his way with the Fed and things go really bad) and am looking to hold more foreign currencies. I've never bought any before but read that I can invest via ETF (e.g. "buying" GBP through FXB) - but is this a secure …

GPN to Acquire Worldpay from FIS, why did $GPN tank after the announcement?

The knock on GPN has been its low/mid market ceiling for success and that its competitors, including FIS/Worldpay, have far larger portfolios, making GPN susceptible to macro impacts. This acquisition makes sense on paper from a business perspective, I'm surprised the news caused such a large drop in share price
