Privacy Policy

This policy is a plain-language template we publish for transparency. It is not legal advice, and we are reviewing it with counsel as the product matures.

StreetPredict (“StreetPredict,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Quine Studios. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the StreetPredict website and services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What StreetPredict does

StreetPredict is an accountability and data product. We track stock and crypto predictions scraped from public sources — including Reddit, Twitter/X, Substack, and Seeking Alpha — along with predictions users submit, and we score them against real market prices. We track predictions; we do not make them. StreetPredict does not provide investment advice and does not make recommendations to buy or sell anything.

Information we collect

• Account data. When you create an account we store your username, email address, and a securely hashed password. Authentication is handled through Django and django-allauth; we never store your password in plain text.
• Payment data. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not collect or store your card numbers — Stripe holds your payment information and processes charges on our behalf. We retain only a customer and subscription reference needed to manage your plan.
• Email. We send account and verification emails, and — for premium users who opt in — prediction alert emails. Email is delivered through our email provider, Resend. You can unsubscribe from alert emails at any time using the one-click unsubscribe link in each message or from your account settings page.
• Error and diagnostic logging. We use Sentry to capture errors and diagnose problems. We deliberately disable personally identifiable information capture in Sentry; only a pseudonymous user identifier is attached so we can correlate an error to an account when troubleshooting.
• Product analytics. We use PostHog to understand how the product is used — for example, which pages and features are visited — so we can improve it. This is general usage and event data about how the service is used.
• Publicly scraped content. Predictions and the author handles associated with them are collected from public sources and displayed as part of the service. This content is already public at its source.
• Cookies and session. We use a Django session cookie to keep you logged in. We also use analytics cookies set by PostHog to understand how the service is used; PostHog may process your IP address and approximate location as part of that analytics. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or sell your data to advertisers.

How we use information

We use the information above to operate and secure your account, process subscriptions, send the emails described above, provide and improve the service, diagnose errors, and comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share limited information with the processors that make the service work — Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Sentry (error logging), and PostHog (analytics) — only as needed for them to provide their service to us. Each is bound by its own terms and privacy commitments.

Data retention

We keep account and subscription information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed to meet legal, accounting, and operational requirements. Publicly sourced prediction content is retained as part of the historical track record the service exists to preserve.

Your rights and choices

You can review and update your account information from your settings page, and unsubscribe from alert emails at any time. To request access to, or deletion of, your personal account data, email us at support@streetpredict.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Note that deleting your account does not remove predictions that were sourced from public posts, as that content remains public at its origin.

Children

StreetPredict is intended only for users who are 18 or older. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate.
