What are the downsides to funds like QQQI ?

On paper, QQQI seems to give \~13% annual dividends. What are the downsides to buying QQQI? (Or funds of that type) You're not going to get returns anywhere close to that with any CD. So what's wrong with parking some chunk of cash in there and getting the dividends? Serious …

Looking to see opinions onf the four funds.

I am curious to know whether these four funds are good investments for a long-term portfolio. The funds are IJR, BND, GSY, and FWIFX. I would like to understand their risk levels, historical performance, expense ratios, and how each might contribute to diversification, income, and overall portfolio stability.

SAAS companies are dropping due to AI, is this an overreaction?

Companies like Monday.Com and Atlassian(TEAM) and Salesforce are all dropping this week due to Anthropics new Cowork and fears that people will be replaced by AI so there will be less seats to licence. Is this a market overreaction and could potentially be a good play to buy the dip?

Tesla's FSD (Full Self Driving) feature will be subscription-only from February 14

This shift is linked to Musk's 2025 CEO Performance Award, which requires Tesla to reach **10 million active FSD subscriptions** over the next decade. As of late 2025, only about **12% of the Tesla fleet** had paid for FSD. Currently, if one wishes to purchase FSD outright, it's $8000. Once …

Google vs. Nvidia - which has the most upside going forward?

I have an investment account (not retirement) that I put $500 in each month. Google has done very well for me over the last year, but I am thinking about switching to Nvidia this year. I missed the earlier surges with Nvidia and think it would be a great stock …

Seeking Alpha through Process

For those who have a portion of their portfolio invested in individual stocks (by conviction, or simply for the thrill), are there any shareholder letters you would recommend reading, excluding the usual classics like Berkshire, to continue refining your investment process? Here are a few that I’ve really enjoyed and …

Early 20s portfolio and looking for feedback on diversification / risk

I’m in my early 20s and have been investing for a few years. I’m long-term focused (no trading, no options) and reinvest dividends. I’m mainly looking for feedback on diversification, concentration risk, and whether anything here feels redundant or missing. Current holdings: * VOO * VXUS * Amazon * Apple …
