Looking beyond the usual software names
Everyone talks SaaS, AI, semis, etc., but I’ve been trying to diversify what I’m researching. Financial and asset-linked small caps are underrated in this environment. TROO is one I started digging into because it doesn’t seem boxed into just one business segment
Which Bitcoin miners are actually positioned as AI infrastructure plays?
I keep seeing Bitcoin miners marketed as “AI infrastructure” stocks. Some of that feels like buzzword dressing. Some of it might be real. Large scale AI datacenters need a few boring but hard things cheap power, grid capacity, cooling, and industrial sites you can actually run 24/7. Miners accidentally built …
Is the AI Stock Bubble on the US Market About to Trigger a Crash?
A lot of people are starting to worry that the crazy AI boom (Nvidia, Microsoft, Meta and the gang) has turned into a full-blown bubble. The top 10 stocks now control over 40% of the whole S&P 500, valuations are higher than during the dot-com bubble, and the market looks …
Compute is the new oil: Why the CME’s new AI compute futures just quietly guaranteed the next 24 months of the Nvidia and hyperscaler supercycle.
Last week, the **CME Group** (the world’s largest derivatives exchange) announced a partnership with Silicon Data to launch the first ever [futures contracts for AI computing power](https://finance.yahoo.com/markets/options/articles/cme-group-enters-ai-compute-010930223.html). CME’s CEO, Terrence Duffy, literally called compute "[the new oil of the 21st century](https://www.ft.com/content/3e6b81e3-954d-4ac1-936b-00ea865bc98d?syn-25a6b1a6=1)." While it sounds like niche financial plumbing, this is …
Could the Trump–Xi China meeting move AAPL,NVDA and other companies stock more than people expect?
we all know US president Donald Trump meeting Xi Jinping in China with CEOs from apple, nvdia, tsla, micron and others seems like a notable event for large-cap tech. China is a major part of the story for these companies, manufacturing, sales, and chip policy. That’s why I’ve been paying close attention to …
Hims & Hers (HIMS) What Moves Hims From Here?
[](https://preview.redd.it/hims-hers-hims-what-moves-hims-from-here-v0-snb0au8pr21h1.png?width=815&format=png&auto=webp&s=c45611c3a3c1da099cb3b5e721a61ed18ccc8866) Q1 2026 looked ugly on the headline and entirely different on the substance: this is the trough quarter of a deliberate strategic pivot, and Q1 captured **roughly one week of full branded Ozempic and Wegovy sales** after the late-March launch. The transition’s costs are all in the print. Almost …

Bitcoin: The Bidding War for Nothing and the Ultimate Winner’s Curse
Imagine you’re at an auction. The room is electric. People are shouting, prices are climbing, and your heart is racing because you really, really want to win. Finally, the gavel drops. You’ve done it. You beat everyone else. You walk up to the stage to collect your prize, and while …
I moved 20% to treasuries a while ago betting on a pullback. Some data came in this week that wasn't in my thesis.
Posted about this before. Moved 15% of my equity allocation into short duration treasuries on the breadth divergence. Added another 5% after PPI came in at 6%. The thesis was simple, CPI at 3.8%, breadth at 53%, rate hike odds at 39%, pullback to the 20 day around 700-710. SPY …
