Is there a way to short SpaceX? Without unlimited downside?

I was looking into the potential IPO of SpaceX, and in my opinion, Elon Musk knows the company is a toxic asset and wants to cash out while securing his trillion-dollar compensation package. I think he wants to dump that risk onto public investors. With the Iran situation remaining a merkey, but unlikely to actually be resolved anytime soon with Israel bombing them yesterday’s it’s likely that energy costs stay high making rocket fuel and AI energy extremely expensive, I don’t buy the argument that these risks will disappear anytime soon. If anything, Musk likely understands that better than most people and wants to use the time where Trump is in talks with Iran to sell the company for an inflated value. To me, the only value proposition for SpaceX would be if its affiliated companies were spun off and became successful independently companies like X and xAI. But even then that does not fix the core problem energy is too expensive for these companies to be of any value. Part of me wants to short the stock if an IPO happens. At the same time, I recognize that large institutions and index funds understand the typical IPO cycle where those prices are over valued and they will drop at some point due to hype and the energy cost it will incur. But I worry since institutions know this they could possibility do a short squeeze driven by hype, momentum, and passive investment flows before the stock eventually settles into a more realistic valuation, and with people’s index funds at play here im worried the whole economy is going to go down with this IPO, I’m curious how retail investors should approach this weird dilemma and how to profit from it. Looking forward to the Elon glazers and the smart replies all the same. :)
