A company run by a guy who:
- bankrupted 6 businesses;
- goes back on his word all the time, tearing up deals he's signed off on himself;
- publicly insults and threatens long-term business partners;
- does business with the mafia instead of legit businesses.
Would you say "Oh, it's just a phase, this business is old and well established and yielded so much profit in the past, and we all know that past performance is a guarantee of future performance"?
Or would you think that maybe, just maybe, all those business partners who have been disrespected and cut off might possibly look to each other for new arrangements, bypassing this company? And that even if the company eventually gets rid of this demented CEO, those partners could never trust it again because its shareholders could just turn around and hire another one just like him?
