I am 35 from the UK.
Im full time employed earning £25k hoping for a job promotion in the next few years
Im currently sitting on 15k in a Vanguard Lifestrategy Fund, but due to the new VG fees, im looking to go elsewhere as i need to sit on £50k for the fees to be acceptable.
From doing a bit of reading and listening to others. I have moved to Trading 212 and want to put my money into another index fund
Im not overly savvy with investing as should be but i think i know what i want.
My view is, i want to put the money away into an index and invest in said index it for a a long time, though id with a decent return that will beat inflation. (Pretty basic i know)
Though, if a project comes about or a house move, id like to access it in 10 years,
No outlanding debts or loans besides a mortgage.
Would anyone be able to recommend a book, video or an index that would provide most, if not all requirements or set me on the right direction?
I was considering the following funds.
S&P 500 UCITS ETF (VUAG)
FTSE Global All Cap Index Fund
FTSE All World Index Fund
