I was tried recreating a reddit post I saw about using ChatGPT to set up trades, and the results are kinda insane. I gave it some structured prompts to analyze price action.. Mainly to look for support/resistance levels, along with market sentiment based on news, then asked it to generate an ideal trade plan, including entry points, stop losses, and take profits.
Last weekend, it caught onto the news about Trump’s crypto reserve announcement and told me to go long early, stacking positions as key breakout levels were hit. It even recommended hedging the position with shorts at the top, so by the time the peak hit, I had already started scaling into shorts. Ended up netting $3,416 in profit.
I was feeding it chart screenshots throughout the day (4H and 1D) and setting a 14% max loss limit, and it performed like a cheat code. Best $15 subscription I’ve ever made.
Anyone else testing AI for investing? Im definitely going to try this again but I'm curious if I just got lucky or if this is actually something real.
