Trumps Stock Market Sucks..

This market is absolute trash. Everything is sliding while Trump strengthens ties with the worst nations on earth and alienates long time allies. Every time he speaks, the market reacts negatively, and it feels like we’re in a constant state of uncertainty.

At this point, I think it’s widely understood that negotiating with Trump in good faith is impossible. He’s already thrown out deals he once called “historic” and “the greatest ever,” like the USMCA, which he himself signed. If he’s willing to rip up his own trade agreements, what country would trust him on anything long-term? The volatility alone is killing investor confidence.. businesses can’t plan ahead, and foreign nations don’t know whether today’s U.S. policy will even exist tomorrow.

How does the U.S. market recover from this? If Trump backs off on tariffs, does that bring things back to normal, or has the damage already been done? What happens when companies stop investing in growth because they’re too busy hedging against policy chaos? I tend to think these next four years are going to be brutal for investors, not just in the U.S., but globally. Even if markets rebound short-term, the long-term impact of this instability is going to linger.
