I just turning 57 at the end of the year. I've been at my job for going on 10 years at the end of November. For the last two years, I've earned a salary of $64,877.00 as a Federal Civilian Employee at the VA Hospital, not including on call I am mandated to take at 4.65 an hour for at least 28 hours per pay period (this doesn't go towards my retirement fund called TSP). I have a mortgage payment so monthly expenses total about $4-$4 1/2k. My vehicle is paid off but I have one large loan $26K due to major house repairs
I currently have $2k in a HYSA, I contribute $497.44 in my traditional, $373.08 in Roth (just started this amount recently), they match $124.36 bi-weekly, I have a small Roth IRA I just started around $900 and don't have a set amount I place in it currently. I currently have $232K in my TSP, not sure the exact amount in Roth. I owe around 60K on my home and place around $150 extra on it a month to pay it off quicker. I will be retiring in 5-10 years (age 62-67) and will have a small pension of around $800- 900 a month minus my insurance (something I want to keep in retirement), I will probably have $200 left over after that expense plus SS.
