So Fed Rate hikes. At least two are expected within the coming year.
Fed views inflation from one pov. The POTUS sees another.
Then you have analysts, CEO's, and firms who are essentially split. Some argue that there is no reason to panic (and that there is no bubble). Another side is sounding the alarm on AI's exponential development.
Large-cap companies, on the other hand, particularly in the AI ecosystem are producing great margins:
* Memory: MU, SNDK, SKHY
* Hyperscalers: AMZN, META, GOOG
* Chip designers: NVDA, AMD
(I wouldn't call NVDA just a chip designer since their CUDA software, robotics, networking and data center ecosystems give it a large economic moat.)
You could even make the argument that many of these are undervalued given their PE ratio, PEG ratio or Forward Earnings.
All this is happening when value stocks like PG, BRKB and WM are not attracting interest.
This is when Buffet would say "sell when others are buying" the hype and buy when "no one is buying."
Are you all continuing to chip in the AI boom or are people now hedging more than usual?
