I’m an investor in the STKY bond issued by Sticky Fingers Sweets & Eats through SMBX.
I recently received notice that Sticky Fingers has closed and that they are unable to make any further payments on the STKY bonds. I was also told that the issuer did not complete the transition to Honeycomb Credit.
I’m trying to understand what happens next and, most importantly, whether STKY investors have any realistic opportunity to recover some portion of our principal.
A few questions:
Are there other STKY bondholders here?
Have you received any additional information from SMBX?
Has anyone been told whether the bond is formally in default?
Does anyone know whether Sticky Fingers has filed for bankruptcy or is planning to?
Has SMBX explained what collection or recovery process it will pursue?
Has anyone received information about remaining company assets or other creditors?
Has anyone dealt with a similar SMBX issuer default and actually recovered money?
I’m not looking to speculate or blame anyone. I’d just like to compare information with other STKY investors and understand what our options are.
If you’re an STKY investor, please share what you’ve been told and when. Thanks.
