is there a “right” order to go about investing or is choosing to invest something better than nothing? I feel like almost every person I’ve heard talk about investing always always always mentions a 401k but I’m just wondering why it’s so significant and how much it truly matters? we had our 401k meeting at work today and I was just overly confused by everything they shared none of it made sense i just remember hearing about a 3% company match. I’ve been looking at online investing options but also think i have enough margin each month to get into a real estate project or two, but im only 25 and dont have nearly the personal chops to actually be in real estate lol. what would you do in my situation with 8k/mo in margin and a full emergency fund saved with no debt but also no investing experience?
