I work at a place a lot of rich people go to, and I could write a whole book on the shit that happens, but I'm gonna keep it quick. I work at night; it's a very easy job, a chill boss, and a lot of drunk people just milling around, so I am pretty careless when it comes to doing schoolwork or investing stuff. I had my portfolio open, and a man noticed and asked me a question. I responded, and because I learned rich people love to talk about themselves, then tip you. I began to ask him if he invested, but this guy just went off talking about so much shit. His life, his first two divorces shaped him as a father, his car collection, gardening stuff. But the most interesting thing he told him is how he made his first couple million. He grew up poor and stayed that way for a while until he began investing in shell companies for the Wagner Group, now African Corp. I didn't know either of these, but I researched them the next day and was astounded. Who was that guy, and why did he tell me all that? I'll never know, but I do want to know how he invested in a private russian army's shell companies when he was poor; he was said to have been born in America, and I have no reason to doubt him. How was it even possible to do such a thing as an American? I did not know where to post this, so it might not fit in this subreddit, but thanks anyway.
