For context I’m 36, own my own home (where most of my net worth is tbf) live in the U.K. and goal is to use the below for retirement. So looking for something that is diversified but can handle volatility given my time horizon.
Revamped things based on pointers + additional research and backtesting.
My previous post had my portfolio more defensive, only 55% stocks and with those made of multiple ETFs: large cap + small/medium cap US, rest of world and emerging. So I’ve consolidated a bit.
What do we think of the below?
Equities
All world ETF like VWRP (70%)
Or
any snp500 index (70%)
Money market hedge/dry powder to buy dips, help me sleep better
(15%) BD1RHR6 - Fidelity Cash W Inc. Short term money market fund
Commodities
15% gold ETF
I also have some bitcoin (forget how much but nothing crazy).
