What resources would you recommend to someone who wants to start investing?

Hi! As the title suggests, I'm looking for some recommendations on what to read before starting investing. I did check the Reading List section here, but to be honest, it's quite overwhelming, and I don't know what exactly will be useful to me from that list.

So far, I've checked a few resources that I really liked:

\- [Gabrialle ](https://gabrialle.com/stock-market-investing/)has a huge section of guides for stock market investing

\- [Finra ](https://www.finra.org/investors/investing/investing-basics)also covers some basics of investing

But that's as far as I've got, and while the resources are, I'm sure, useful, it's hard to sort out what's necessary for me now and what's not.

Can you please share some resources you used to get into investing? Or just tell me how you started? Maybe some advice for beginners? Thanks in advance!
