It feels like having a house is not safe anymore, we wanted to have house to enjoy the big space but in this market situation, having house is more like a burden, to sell it with the higher interest rates looks like buyers are going for a new houses with incentatives and less builder interest rates instead of buying old houses. To rent it , I don’t know how it works like if the renters break something , who is responsible for this rental agency or the landlond? And also, we may or may not have to go back to home country anytime , the other option that my husband is giving to refinance the house , take out the amount paid and buy some agricultural land in home country. Then we can give it for foreclosure.
Any thoughts or suggestions that you provide will help us? No criticism please, buying a house was never an investment option for me it’s all about having big space but didn’t think about these consequences while buying.
