Just applied for the free $1K for my newborn this week via the Trump account app. It was a very easy process and now I’m just waiting for the treasury to send the funds over (says it might take a week).
My question is, does anyone know where the $1K will be sent exactly? Directly to my login on the Trump app? From there, who will the custodian be? Will I have choices like Schwab, Fidelity, etc? Or will the custodian be chosen for me?
