401K VOYA from former employer

So when I left my last job where I was grossly underpaid, I rolled over my 401K into my personal IRA with T Rowe. At the time they had just switched over to using Voya and it was a complete hassle getting the money rolled over and Voya took their time but eventually the transfer went through. Now my current job ( where I've been for approx. 4 months) also uses Voya and when I went in to check my balances there I saw that my former employer had allocated matching monies on June 30th ( I'm guessing it was a end of quarter match because they would only do this sometimes "If we have enough") to the tune of 1.2K into my old 401K account, at least 66% of that I should have been due to working that much of the fiscal year, but I can only guess that this was a oversight on their part.

The current 401K balance is listed on Voya as a Vested Balance, I wonder if they can they in fact claw that money back.

I wonder if I should roll that over as soon as possible, I believe last time I had to go through my former employer to get confirmation for the transfer, not sure why, maybe because of them switching over to Voya ( does that sound right) If I have to go through them I'm guessing they will not cooperate if it's an oversight.
