Too many people investing

Hello everyone,

By no means I can analyze the market. I stopped doing stock analysis early in my journey. Now I am invested for 7-8 years. However, what served me well is just reversing what I hear around me. Not in a way that I actively take bets, just maybe DCAing more if I read scary news etc. I hope you get me.

Anyway, I’m also located in Europe, where investing in stock market is less common, and for the last 2 years loads of people that I know suddenly started investing, either responsibly or irresponsibly. People that dont have a clue what they are doing and were never responsible with money.

I just can’t believe that from a socioeconomic point of view this can work out for everyone. If everyone is just buying with minimal research, it has to lead to some overvaluation and hence a correction. I know it’s not a zero sum game, but this can’t be sustainable.

As I said, I can’t analyze the market, I just buy an ETF every month, and I wanted to get your opinions on this, or whether you can point to some recent study that is relevant.
