What is the point of investing for decades with increased inflation and purchasing power decreasing?

I have done some calculations using investing calculator’s based on my future savings rate. When I asked Gemini what would be my approximate amount invested + inflation, that number heavily decreased. The concern of how much more expensive it will be in future is kind of weighing down on me.
