In MTG, Netdecking is where you look up someone else's brilliant composition on the internet and duplicate their deck card-for-card.
You benefit from a proven setup, but you still need to know the game and how to play, and even then won't do as well as the inventor of the win-condition.
Is there an equivalent of this for the Stock Market?
I don't want to spend hours upon hours digging though the nitty gritty (no judgement, just not for me).
Can I copy another portfolio (like Berkshire or Elon) and just "run the play"?
I'm looking for something more involved than dumping money into a mutual fund, but not up for the maximum effort approach to daily management.
I figured there has to be some MTG nerds on this sub where the analogy would resonate, but please anyone feel free to comment on the viability of this.
