I’m sure this will rustle some feathers, but META is a washed up company that I won’t put even $3 into. Sure they have a moat and are still here I guess but hear me out. Simply purchased their best product, Instagram, by far the best thing they have going for them and would be such a has-been org without it. Spent billions on the Metaverse, believe it or not, true story - actually did this. Along with so many sub par ventures. Want customer service, forget about it. want anything that resembles a classic or high quality org. Nah we don’t do that here. Instagram arguably is the only reason they are still here or relevant and not a MySpace story. Oh but Meta ai! /s
When you compare it to high caliber companies like Google or Apple or Nvidia or Micron or literally a list of 1000 others, I suppose you either see it or you don’t. And time will tell if the market spots the weakness. If you are invested and believe in them, more power to you, but I openly call out their questionable place on this list. Wouldn’t it be surprised if their relevance fades over time, although they did lock in a staying presence in the social media the market so I will give them an A+ on one good purchase. (again thanks to the thing they bought). Still. Lipstick on a pig.
