Helping my mom with portfolio

I'm very aggressive with my portfolio. Honestly, it's worked out very well for me and I'm not looking for any incentive to change. My mom asked me for help setting up her portfolio. Her situation is as follows:

> She has a total of 4 million dollars + the value of her home is around 700,000 + she has 40,000 in cash just sitting in a Bank of America account doing nothing. The majority of it is managed by Edward Jones in a 60/40 split. She took 100k because she doesn't want everything concentrated in the Edward Jones 60/40. So she took out 100k
>
> She is 70 years old and retiring next year. My grandmother (her mother) lived to be 88 and she has no heart or major medical problems. She expects to need about a 3,000 a month for expenses.
>
> I see bonds as mostly bad yields that carry you through when the market downturns and prevent you from selling. I believe the 60/40 rule was created at a time when the US had a very different financial situation. Regardless, she has plenty of exposure to 60/40 already.

I was thinking of taking the 100k and giving her 35% PDBC
55% VOO and 10% Nasdaq.

Thoughts or suggestions? I'm well aware of stock market fundamentals but I have very little knowledge of the type of normal and steady wealth preservation people responsibly engage in / best strategies.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
