Hey i will be upfront I'm a country boy and new to being financially responsible lol but I'm trying to learn.
I'm 37yrs old, I just sold my home, closed my general construction business and most of my stuff and moved to Massachusetts renting a place with my gf. I don't have kids or credit card debt or any debt besides my work truck which i owe under 9k ( 2020 f150 89k miles worth 20k). I have roughly 20k in savings and another 25k in a robinhood account. I have a pension of 4k a month from my military service. I just started a roth ira last year and maxed it out.
The sale of my house finalized two days ago and now I have 160k in my bank account and I have no idea what to do with it. I want to use this money to help jump start my way to real wealth / retirement. I don't want or need to buy things and im happy to be fairly risky. I feel like I'm really far behind the curve for retirement for my age. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
