My nephew just set up a UTMA account for his 1 year old son (my grand-nephew)...
Since my (only child) son has announced he never intends to get married or have kids, this Grand-Nephew is the closest I'll get to a grandchild...
I want to drop a share of (undecided stock) into this UTMA account, twice a year (birthday and Hanukkah)... I want him to easily understand the companies when he reaches 10-12 years old.
I want it to be "ethical" companies, no tobacco, no oil, no weapons manufacturers... etc.
I was thinking about starting him with a share each of Coca-Cola and Disney.
