If I have SWPPX in schwab but now want to move all of my stuff to a Joint account in Vanguard, will this trigger a tax bill? The SWPPX has appreciated and it will be selling at a gain.
I don’t believe Vanguard can carry SWPPX so I think they would have to sell SWPPX and buy a Vanguard equivalent.
