Anxiety buying in this market

I'm having lots of trouble buying and commiting to a stock in this market. Everything seems to be ripping (except the stocks I hold) and companies I had in my watchlist have skyrocketed far from my entry price. But even those I consider buying, and do, I have trouble holding: I buy, see it drop 1% immediately due to the very high volatility and set a limit sell at $0.01 over my entry price.

I feel that everytime a stock I buy doesn't remain higher than my buying price, it's because it's going to begin its correction from the tremendous rip all stocks have pulled so far. So I'm not only missing on these profits for not entering at the right time (and holding stock that remains neutral at best, like China and SaaS) but I also fear entering *now* because it feels a correction is coming.

Also, I'm >$15k down in the year and I've come to see my current total account value as a number that I should at least hold the rest of the year. That is, suppose my total holdings are worth $100,550: I feel that keeping it over $100,000 is the one remaining posible goal for this lousy year. This makes me even *more* anxious holding a negative position.

How does one deal with this anxiety? How do you deal with this volatility and avoid staying liquid in a high inflation environment?
