I currently have three old employer 401ks at different investment firms and a current one with Fidelity. I'd like to consolidate to make life simpler.
I like Vanguard and appreciate their investing philosophy, low fees, and customer service. I could consolidate with Fidelity, but found them to be a lot more aggressive with trying to get me to consolidate with them. Moving my 401ks would involve rolling them over into an IRA with Vanguard. My only concern is that I can't go back. Obviously once you've left a 401K you can't go back to it.
Has anyone done this? Any advice?
