Inflation has picked up significantly yet the market continues to hit all time highs. A really strong earnings season is a huge reason why. Nearly 95% of S&P companies have beaten their earnings and year over year eps growth is \~15%.
Guidance is also pretty positive among large caps in the S&P, with many (industrials, Tech, and Financials) raising guidance.
There's the classic saying that the market is not the economy and that appears especially true for the large caps in the S&P right now.
