Creating your own custom ETFs?

I want to get out of the cookie cutter index ETFs since they feel too top heavy and include certain companies I want to remove exposure to. I’ve seen a few platforms that do basket trading (like M1) or modified direct indexing (like Wallace Finance).

Does anyone have a preference? I know Frec lets you kick out stocks from the Nasdaq but it looks like Wallace does that too and you can create rule based ETFs you manage yourself. I think Wealthfront also looks decent although maybe high minimums.

Not looking for financial advice, just open to any suggestions of ETF or strategy creation apps.
