I changed jobs 6 years ago and rolled over my old Roth 401k to my new Roth 401k at my new employer. I was speaking to a representative at Fidelity today and they said that I could rollover that previous rollover into my current Roth IRA.
I'm 53, I won't need to withdraw this money before 59 1/2, and future backdoor Roth contributions are not a consideration. My current 401k investment options are okay but I would have much more flexibility if these funds were in my Roth IRA.
