Investing for elder relatives?

So correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the general adage for elderly investors to hold like 80% of their wealth in cash/ low risk bonds once they hit age 70s? My aunt currently holds 77% in equites and the rest in cash, but she is not able to independently monitor her finances anymore- my uncle is power of attorney…. Shouldn’t the bank shes with suggest an adjustment?? Apparently they’re not tho and are just sticking with the current investment split…. Finding this a little strange…She has a significant amount in the account- around $3mil total.
