This is happening more than people realise. Large groups of people sending money based on what they see online without ever meeting the person. At first it sounds irrational. Then you think about it and realise how it builds. You see someone consistently, you hear them talk, you watch how others react to them. Over time it starts to feel familiar, then reliable. And eventually that turns into trust.
The question is whether that trust is actually earned or just constructed.
