I live outside the US and getting access to American stocks used to be such a headache traditional brokers either had high fees or just wouldnt let me open an account at all.
So a few months back I started trying out crypto exchanges that also offer stocks and the experience is mixed lol its easy to sign up and you can buy fractional shares of stuff like Tesla without needing a ton of money which is nice.
But the fees can sneak up on you if your not careful I found a site called mgbaba while I was comparing fees across platforms and it helped me figure out which one actually made sense for smaller buys cause some platforms charge way more than others and I didnt realise at first.
Anyone else here buying US stocks through crypto exchanges would love to hear what platforms you use and if you had any issues with fees or withdrawals
