$GEV quietly raised 2026 revenue guidance to $45B while the whole market was distracted by the Fed and Iran
Came across GEV and honestly surprised it’s not being talked about more. EPS grew over 200% in 2025. Management just guided $44-45B in revenue for 2026. Customers are apparently paying upfront just to reserve production capacity through 2030. Like slot reservations. The demand is so far ahead of supply that buyers can’t wait. The thesis is pretty straightforward. AI data centers need massive amounts of power. GE Vernova makes the turbines and electrical equipment that powers them. as hyperscalers keep spending on infrastructure, GEV is essentially a picks and shovels play on AI without any of the chip valuation risk. Saw it mentioned on Blossom a few times this week and the sentiment there was cautiously bullish, people like the story but worried the valuation has already run, which is a fair concern. The stock has had a big run. But when customers are pre-paying years in advance to lock in capacity, that’s not hype, that’s backlog.
Anyone here been following GEV? curious whether long term investors see this as still early or already fully priced in
