Big Tech,Cloud Margins & Rising Geopolitical Risk,Where are Markets Headed?

Some analysts see Alphabet as a relatively resilient tech name thanks to its diversified business model even as the broader market faces uncertainty.

However, there’s skepticism around companies that rely heavily on advertising. For example Meta Platforms generates roughly 98% of its revenue from ads, making it more exposed if businesses reduce marketing budgets especially small and medium-size companies

Meanwhile, Microsoft and Alphabet benefit from enterprise cloud revenue streams which act as a buffer during economic slowdowns
Some Wall Street analysts are also optimistic about Amazon, particularly its cloud division Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The argument is that cloud infrastructure margins could become a major driver of profitability, making Amazon more attractive on a “sum-of-the-parts basis

At the same time, the global backdrop is becoming more volatile. Rising oil prices and geopolitical tensions including escalating strikes involving Iran, the United States, and Israel are putting pressure on global markets.

As uncertainty increases, sectors like cybersecurity and defense are increasingly viewed as critical infrastructure rather than optional spending.

Curious how others here are positioning leaning toward cloud infrastructure defensive tech or something else?
