Google is allowing me to delete all my emails... running out of data center storage?

Usually, Google's business model (I would guess) never really allowed us to delete all our emails from "all time", so we would end up buying their $2 a month premium for more storage.

I tried deleting some old emails and guess what, I was offered the opportunity to delete all my emails from my Promotions section, emails which I never click on. I dumped my updates section and while it's slow, it seems to work.

Which comes to the next question, you think WDC and STX are going to surge in the coming months? If google wants you to delete your old emails.... maybe they are out of hard drive space across their data centers.

If not, some good news anyway for gmail users. Personally I was running out of storage on my email so it was nice to clear up space!
