Is FTSE more trustworthy than USA indexes such as NASDAQ and S&P now?

Unpredictable decisions of Trump made me lose my trust for the USA indexes. Considering how FTSE is outperformed S&P for the last year is making me think that there may be a shift in power.

I’m looking for a safe index that is consistent with low volatility for leverage investing on forex.
