I just got a piece of mail (paper, in my mailbox) addressed to my late mom from a company called Blackwell Energy, allegedly. It claims that she (and thus my sister and I) are the heir to some mineral rights owned by my great grandfather, and that the firm will go through the probate process that is required.
Scam, or worth at least calling the number given?
