I’m sharing my experience and long-term goal through investing.
A few years ago, I decided to focus on building a portfolio that generates income instead of only chasing growth. About half of it is in proven dividend-paying stocks like Realty Income (O), Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), and Coca-Cola (KO). These companies have strong track records of paying and increasing dividends, and they provide me with steady monthly and quarterly cash flow.
The other half of my portfolio is in crypto. I hold BTC long term, but instead of letting it sit idle, I use Nexo to earn interest on it. This way my BTC generates yield while I still keep exposure to its potential upside. Combining dividend stocks and BTC allows me to diversify between traditional markets and crypto, while earning from both sides.
I reinvest most of what I make, and compounding is starting to show real results. I haven’t reached the full capital needed to live entirely off my investments yet, but if I stay consistent, I believe that within 1–2 years I won’t need to rely on a job anymore.
