We live in the United States, my wife and I are looking into investing to build our wealth slowly and we have 500$ a month left over. So far we have - 100% 401k matched, savings for 6 months if laid off and we still set aside a little bit every month for emergency funds. We have no debt and considering all of the above, we have 500$ to invest every month.
If you were us, what would be a good and safe option to start with and what are some resources I could use to learn more about investing in general? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!
