Ive been looking into where I would place my money, so ive done some research. And I understand the value of equity in a company, or a bond. But i cant seem what the value of crypto is? What drives its price besides hyper or just people buying an asset hoping it goes up despite nothing actually changing? Am I missing something, whats the point of bitcoin? I've read people use it to send cash internationally, but the price of bitcoin doesnt really matter for that, it just needs to stay stable for the few minutes between when someone buys, sends, and sells it back. It drives volume but not demand
