Recently read that [Buffet sold 75% of his AMZN holdings](https://blocknow.com/buffett-sells-75-amazon-berkshire-buys-new-york-times-in-final-shift/) and afterwards bought 3% of NYT.
Does this has to do with the fact that AMZN owns Washington Post? Is there a rule in the USA preventing someone to own a major share in two competing businesses?
