I’ve been thinking about how most stock apps are designed, and I’m not sure they actually make long-term investing easier. In fact, many of them feel exhausting.
I open them hoping to understand a company better. Instead, I get flooded with charts, indicators, alerts, and numbers I do not actually use. After ten minutes, I am more confused than when I started.
As a long term investor, I do not need fifty signals. I want to know a few basic things. Is this business solid. Is it profitable. Am I paying a fair price.
Somewhere along the way, tools started optimizing for traders, not investors. Speed over clarity. Noise over understanding.
Maybe complexity looks impressive. But for me, it creates bad decisions, not better ones.
Curious if others feel the same. What do you actually use when analyzing a stock.
