I’ve suddenly realised I should be planning a bit more for the future if I want to retire before 60. I want to put some money away every months into some ETF funds and just by regardless of what happening with the market as I’ve read this is best strategy and takes the emotion out.
I’ve been told that decent index funds have historically returned well and hopefully that trend continues.
I’m UK based so want to make sure I’m using a stocks and shares ISA (likely with trading212).
I’ve looked into some popular US based ones but then I’d be liable for withholding tax however I have found their UCITS equivalent and was curious on peoples views and if I’m going about this the right way.
I’m going to try and invest £500 a month split across these 5 (weighting undecided) as I think this give good growth plus some opportunities for dividends.
