So I’m 19 years old and just won 8 million on the lotto and it sucks some of it was taken by taxes but 8 million is more than enough I’d imagine for me. For context, I was forced out of my parents place because I refused to stay at college full time and they abused me. I decided to stay at a small apartment with a friend who heard my story and has history with the landlord so he covered rent for me for a bit. I got food and rent covered for awhile. The apartment is really small but it could be worse. I don’t care about fancy houses n cars n shit. I just wanna stay rich and protect those who I care about. I also have a 30$ an hour paying job and while it is a little boring I stay with it due to the extraordinary pay especially at my age. My mental health needs some work cuz I don’t do much. Anyways though what should I do moving forward? I don’t know a damn thing about investing. I don’t even know if I should tell anyone. Does anyone got any advice for a struggling 19 year old here? Advice helps and I don’t want to go back.
