I am still wondering if renewable energy companies are worth investing into this year. I was searching up luxury resorts in the Maldives, had a look at Soneva which has several island resorts running in the Maldives. I noticed that their Soneva Secret luxury island resort recently installed floating solar panels. According to the article, the system will save around 900,000 to 1,000,000 liters of diesel per year, reducing CO₂ emissions by more than 2,000 tons annually. Surprisingly, the solar panels don't look ugly, they seem to blend into the aesthetic and style of the resort.

The company Ocean Sun that owns the patent to the technology, their stock price is incredibly low, and they are listed on Euronext, any thoughts on investing in this type of technology that is different from regular land-based solar?
From what I’ve read, Ocean Sun operates on a licensing model, allowing other developers to use their technology. Interesting and aesthetic technology to say the least, but any thoughts on the trajectory of the investing into the solar energy market in general?
