I want to convert about half my US dollars to anything not US. Thinking Euro, Yan and Canadian dollar

The US Dollar Index (DXY) is around \~96.9 after hitting multi-month lows, and USD/JPY is \~155–157 this week. EUR/USD is near \~1.18 and USD/CAD \~1.36, showing some greenback weakness vs major FX pairs.

How would I go about shifting savings into yen, euro, or Canadian dollars, and are there any tax implications I should be aware of when doing this? Would love insights on timing and reporting.
