$1000 Medical Bill Refund Check - What to do?

So I won an 8 month argument with my insurance to mostly cover my son's procedure. My $9000 CC bill will soon drop to about $900. However, $1000 of that refund will be in the form of a check from the actual dentist.

I have that $9k bill on a zero-APR new credit card I opened just for this. Once the refunds come, the minimum payment should drop much lower.

Do you think it'd be wise to take that $1000 check and throw into my Fidelity investment accounts or HYSA (4.09% on my OpenBank). My CC mentioned above will probably be closer to $1900ish if I dont put the check to the CC and I can just do monthly payments easily enough.

Any other options or combinations im not thinking of?

TLDR: Large CC Bill with no interest charges until next October become smaller, put $1000 check to further lower bill or invest?
